Summary

Quistra: Geo is an account-free geography quiz provided by Fable Labs AS. Quiz progress and preferences are stored locally on your device. The app uses Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform to manage consent and display advertising where permitted.

Data stored on your device

Quistra: Geo stores quiz progress, best scores, and app preferences locally on your iPhone or iPad so the app can work as expected. Fable Labs does not receive this local gameplay data. Removing the app removes its locally stored app data, subject to the normal behaviour of iOS backups and device restoration.

Advertising, consent, and data processed by Google

The app uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements and Google User Messaging Platform to request and manage privacy choices where required. Advertising requests are made only when the consent system indicates that requests are permitted.

Depending on your region, device settings, consent choices, and how Google serves an advertisement, Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, coarse location, advertising data, product interaction, performance information, diagnostic information, and crash data. A device identifier may be used for tracking where you have given the required permission or consent.

Quistra: Geo does not request your precise location. Coarse location may be inferred by Google from information such as your IP address for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, or app functionality.

Google processes this information under its own policies. You can read the Google Privacy Policy and learn how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Your privacy choices

Where required, a consent message is shown before advertising starts. If Google determines that additional privacy choices must remain available, Quistra: Geo provides a Privacy choices button on the start screen. You can also use iOS privacy settings to control tracking permission and device advertising settings.

Accounts and information collected by Fable Labs

Quistra: Geo does not require an account and does not send your quiz answers, scores, or local progress to Fable Labs. Fable Labs does not sell personal data.

Support messages

If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, device details, or screenshots. We use it only to answer your request, investigate the issue, and keep reasonable support records. Email is processed by our email provider.

Children

Quistra: Geo is configured as a general-audience app and is not specifically directed at children. It does not knowingly collect account or profile information from children. Advertising and consent are handled through Google’s services and the privacy choices described above.

International processing and retention

Google and its service providers may process advertising and diagnostic information in countries outside your own. Their retention and protection practices are described in Google’s policies. Fable Labs keeps support correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, investigate issues, meet legal obligations, or maintain appropriate business records.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of personal data. You may also contact the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

Changes to this policy

If Quistra: Geo’s data practices change, we will update this page and its “Last updated” date before the change is reflected in the app’s privacy disclosures.
